My Everyday Makeup Routine

Hi Girlies,
Sorry I haven't post anything in the past week, I've been busy and enjoying the sun :)
So, today I thought I would do my everyday makeup routine, I wear a very natural makeup on the daily bases, the most important thing to me is my skin looking the best possible, so I dont spend much time on my eyes or lips.

So the first step is primer, I have oily skin and need a primer so my foundation lasts longer and I don't look shiny throughout the day, the primer I am using at the moment is the one that came on my May Joliebox RMK make up base. Then I apply my BB cream (Review here). I wear three different concealers two under- eye and one on my face. the first one I use is the one I use on my face is the collection2000 Lasting Perfection Concealer in medium 3( £4.19), and under my eyes I wear Garnier  Roll-on anti-dark circles and the Benefit Erase Paste in number 2 ( £19.50)
I contour using the Chanel Soleil Tan de Chanel ( £30.00), for blush I am currently loving my MAC Mineralize Blush in Fresh Honey from the Naturally collection. And for the last face product I wear a highlighter, it changes everyday but today I am wearing Dior Shimmer Powder 002 Amber Diamonds (£32.00).
As I said before my eye make up is very simple I only wear Bare Study Paintpot by MAC (£14.50) all over the lid, the eye liner I chose today is the Stila Smudge Stick Waterproof eyeliner in moray, I've received this eye liner in a Glossybox awhile ago. Then I curl my eyelashes and apply mascara, the one I am currently using is Bourjois Volume Fast Perfect mascara ( £11.99). And lastly I put some lipstick/lip gloss/lip balm on, today I am wearing BarryM Lip Gloss in shade 11 (£4.49)
What is your favourite everyday make up routine? Let me know in the comments bellow.

NOTD: Lilicism and Mint Candy Apple by Essie

Today is a beautiful day in a long time, so I am super excited! I am running out the door so this post will be short and sweet :)
I am loving this combination of nail polishes, I've been wearing them for almost a week now and they just started chipping, good sign! However Lilicism stated to shattered and I am not a fan of that look, maybe it is time to change nail polishes.
Both of them are easy to apply and opaque with one coat, I applied two though.
( Mint Candy Apple and Lilicism. Natural light)
( two coats. Natural light)

What nail polish are you wearing at the moment? Leave me a comment down below.

Different kind of post: Monday Questionnaire ( May 21st)

I thought it was time for you guys to get to know me, I've been blogging for a bit more than a mouth now and I realize that I haven't done anything like this yet, so here it is.
First of all I want to thank you, for visiting and sometimes even commenting, it makes me extremely happy and that I accomplished something.
I've been following amarixe blog for a while now and I love the Monday questionnaire that she does, so I thought I would give it a go.

1) Mood:
I am happy and feeling very lucky! Yesterday was my mom's birthday and she said she doesn't need much to be happy, and she is right. Sometimes life doesn't seem fair and doesn't go the way you imagined it but you just need to find another way, and you don't need much to be happy!
(My family. Excuse my dad's face, he's just like Chandler from friends haha.)

2)What is your favourite genre of music?
Not going to lie, every time someone asks me this question I don't know how to answer, I like Mat.McHugh kind of musics, I like We The Kings, Lana Del Rey, Arctic Monkeys, Ben Harper, Charity Vence, Colbie Caillat, Eagle- Eye Cherry and the list goes on.

3)What is your favourite ice cream flavour?
People always look at me weird when I answer this question. I don't like ice cream.

4) Current nail polish:
Essie lilacism and Essie mint candy apple. ( NOTD coming soon!)
(sneak peak)
5) Have you ever prank called someone?
Yes, I have. When I was about 9 years old, my friend and I used to call this guy everyday after school.

6) Outfit of the day:
I am wearing pyjamas right now, but I'm taking a shower and changing soon.

7) When do you usually go to sleep?
I go to bed around 11pm, but I go to sleep around 1 a.m, I like to read before sleeping!

8) Weekly goals:
Revise for my exams coming up.

I hope you guys liked this post. and I would love if you guys could answer the questions in the comments below.

Little Haul.

Last weekend I went to Bicester Village with my mom and some friends and I bought a couple of things, I bought my favourite hand cream, Cherry Blossom petal-soft hand cream by L'Occitane (£14.00) and a new Links of London friendship bracelet in orange.
Then this week I was wondering around boots and bought a few things. First and the most exciting things  are the Essie nail polishes in mint candy apple and lilacism (£7.99), after seeing Beauty Crush's post about her favourites nail polishes I knew I had to buy it ASAP.
In the same trip to Boots I also bought the Burt's Bees cuticle cream, the Erase Paste by benefit and the Cha Cha Tint also by benefit ( swatches below). And not satisfied with all my new goodies I crossed the street and went to Superdrug  and bought me a new blush, Coral 933 by Sleek Makeup ( swatches below).
( natural light. swatches from top to bottom: coral by sleek makeup and cha cha tint by benefit)

Have you been buying anything lately? let me know in the comments below.

NOTD: Mint Green by Barry M + Knackered by Butter London

Today's NOTD are a mint green as the name suggest and a duo-chrome with holographic shimmer.
Barry M's polishes are great and affordable, very opaque but the only problem is they don't last very long on my nails.
Knackered is the only polish I own from Butter London, I do like it and applies smoothly and last a very long time, my only problem with Butter London polish is the price tag, it retails for £12.00

 (Natural light, two coats each.)

(Natural light)
Barry M can be purchased at Boots or Superdrug, both reatails for £2.99 (superdrug)
Butter London polishes are hard to find but I got mine for £12 at thebeautybooth

Rigs are from boticca

Trend: Stripes

I have been seeing this trend everywhere, and haven't heard anything about it, maybe I have been living under a rock for the last month or two, but I thought I would show you.
First time I saw someone wearing stripped jeans I didn't think too much about it, but after seeing it everywhere I started liking it.
I do really like the trouser, however I do think that in curvier girls like me wouldn't be as flattering as it would in skinnier girls, only if the stripes are thinner. But the blazer would look great in anyone, and would dress up any outfit.
You can find this trend everywhere, but be careful otherwise you can look like you are wearing pyjamas.
Let me know what you think about stripes down bellow.

B's thoughts: Skin79 Super Triple Function BB cream.

After all this hype about BB cream I was dying to try one, and talking to a friend who is from Singapore, she told me that Asians BB creams are totally different from the ones we can find everywhere nowadays. So I decided to try the one she wears.
I ordered the BB cream from a website that she recommended, it took too long to get here and the shipping was very expensive, so I do not think it is the best place to buy it from. However I found a website that is much better the shipping is fast and cheaper. (BBcosmetics. for £16.00)
My first thought when I first applied I did not like it, the product is very grey and it was  bit stinky, after a few seconds and some blending the colour matches my skin colour perfectly, with a light/medium coverage. The best way to apply it is using my hands.
The product claims to fade any kind of scar, or freckles and I do find the all my scars caused by acne and some freckles are much lighter.
I have oily skin and this product last all day, but I do need to powder and primer after or before using this product.
Overall I am really liking this BB cream, haven't use my foundation since I bought it.

April Favourites 2012

Last month I have been trying out some new products and rediscovering some old loves.

AHAVA MINERAL BODY LOTION:  It has been my favourite body lotion since I received it in a glossybox a while ago. It makes my skin extremely soft and moisturised, absorbs quickly and easy to use. (£22.00
SOLEIL TAN DE CHANEL: I wear this product as my contour bronzer and it is just amazing, it blends perfectly to your foundation and looks natural, can also be worn on its own and over or under foundation. (£29.00).
MAC MINERALIZE BLUSH IN EARLY MORNING: This blush was from Naturally collection about two or three months ago.  This blush can be worn softer  or heavier and still looks great. I would recommend this blush for medium/ dark skin tone.
JIMMY CHOO EUA DE PARFUM: I love this fragrance, it is a girlie but still sophisticated smell,  A modern Fruty Chypre with warm, rich, woody depths. ( description from Debenhams website.)
This fragrance is great for spring and summer.
SKIN79 SUPER BB: *review coming soon.*
EOS LIP BALM: Best lip balm ever. Very Moisturising and makes my chaps lips very smooth.
GREEN PEOPLE FRUIT SCRUB: It is a gentle scrub, but at the same time you can feel the particle in your skin. After using it my skin feel very soft and dewy. (£11.95)
GOSMILE ON THE GO TEETH WHITENING PEN: It is a teeth whitening treatment that really works and does not leave your teeth sensitive. The shop that I bought it from does not sell anymore but you can still get it from gosmile.com ($22.00)
KMS CALIFORNIA FREE SHAPE : It is a heat-activated shaping spray, and it woks as a hair spray and a heat- protective spray and it gives shine, great product. (£12.41)
TOPSHOP XL HEART NECKLACE: I haven stopped wearing this necklace this month, just goes with everything and looks great. I love wearing a simple tee and the necklace. ( £12.50)
BIODERMA SEBIUM H2O MIRACLE SOLUTION: As you can see my bottle is empty, this hsows how much I love this product, even my mom likes it. Just takes all my makeup off very easily.
THE TRYLLE TRILOGY: * book review coming soon*
